There are a few places you can go for tennis, even out here, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. There are public courts in Kekaha, Hanapepe, and Waimea. Since these are public courts, they are first-come, first-served.

Kekaha Park has two lighted courts. You can find the courts on Elepaio Road. Drive west on Highway 50; once you hit Kekaha, turn right on Alae Road, heading up toWaimea Canyon. You’ll find the courts just left on Elepaio Road.

Hanapepe Park has four lighted courts. Going west on Highway 50, you’ll pass Hanapepe Bridge and turn left on Puolo Road. The courts are near the ocean on the right side. Waimea High School has four courts total – two with lights, two without. Driving west from Waimea Town, you pass

Waimea High School and make a right on Makeke Road. Pass the Neighborhood Center and make a right onto Haina Road. The courts are on the school grounds.
